Freelancing
I have been a freelancer from 2006 to 2011 and have been working for companies like for example Harley Davidson, RWE, Systaic, and ThyssenKrupp. In about 4,5 years I successfully finished more than 15 big and small multimedia and game projects with Unity for customers around the world.
Robotics
In 2011 I started a personal robotics research and development project. I evaluated hardware and software to build and simulate my own robot. I decided to use Unity's powerful physics engine to create a robotics simulator to simulate and read / write to real hardware. I wanted to use this simulator to build a digital twin of a spider robot that can climb stairs and retrieve objects.

While I have been working part-time for the company Saatmann I have been using Unity ( and Unreal ) in my free time.
Employee at Novatec Consulting GmbH

What now ?
I am working on an action game in my free time.
After successfully finishing a prototype of a top-down space game in 2019 with Unity, I decided to create a complete game of this idea with Unreal Engine.
